Dr. Kristie Adams

Dr. Kristie Adams graduated with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University in 2007. She continued her postgraduate studies in the Chemical Biology Laboratory at the National Cancer Institute, focusing on refinement of structure-activity relationships of a novel antiproliferative glycopeptide using NMR spectroscopy in conjunction with computational methods.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of NMR spectroscopy, Kristie brings a wealth of professional expertise gained while holding scientific positions at United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and DuPont. Prior to joining Mestrelab in August 2022, Kristie was the President and CEO of Steelyard Analytics, Inc., a small contract NMR spectroscopy laboratory.
Kristie is actively involved in the global NMR community. After having served on the Scientific Organizing Committee and Board of Directors for nearly ten years, Kristie is currently the President of the Board of Directors for PANIC (Practical Aspects of NMR in Industry Conference). In her spare time, Kristie enjoys playing video games and planning her next great adventure!
