Angela was born in Palma de Mallorca and studied physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Afterwards, she moved to Germany to work at the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung and defended her PhD at the University of Frankfurt. In 2012 she started a postdoc at the Paul Scherrer Institut working as accelerator physicist at the Swiss Light Source and in 2014 became staff scientist and joined the free electron laser team. In 2017 she accepted a research fellow position at CERN to work in the modelling and operation of the LEIR and SPS synchrotrons. Late 2019, she returned back to Spain and worked at the gaseous detector lab of the IGFAE/USC until she joined Mestrelab in October 2022.
