Alicia López was born in A Coruña and started her university degree in chemistry in 2015 at the University of A Coruña. After graduating (2020), she did a Digitalent scholarship at Mestrelab Research in 2021 and three months later she started working at Mestrelab Research as a junior software developer and junior QA.
