Marcel has many years of NMR experience analyzing substances ranging in size from small ions to polymers. After initially becoming interested in NMR while studying chemistry at Johns Hopkins University, he focused on peptide structure, dynamics, and thermodynamics using NMR, as well as other spectroscopic and calorimetric techniques, at Harvard University. In 2013, Marcel joined the rapidly expanding benchtop NMR community, working to develop both time domain and frequency domain applications for QA/QC, R&D, and education at Oxford Instruments. At Mestrelab, Marcel looks forward to helping our users find solutions to their analysis challenges. Outside of work, Marcel can be found cooking, hiking, and coaching high school speech and debate.
